Pass. It's a £200 jacket.
Given the weather warnings I think it's sensible to carry it (I do sleep quite cold) and if it's really annoying post it to the finish. Maybe I could still use a smaller saddle bag and then force it in, smaller. But, this requires me to find a smaller saddle bag.. like now.
Nah, it's basically locked in. I just keep wanting to ditch stuff, but the sensible/safe old/boring cunt within me points out where it could come in handy, ie. not freezing to death up a mountain.
Basically I'm using a big Viscacha bag and want to ditch my down jacket and use a smaller saddle bag. But I'm paranoid about having a mechanical up a mountain or needing sleep and freezing so I'd rather hang onto it.
