This business of digging up stuff on Tim Farron is pretty tedious. Presumably it's a Crosby side-project. You can imagine that May will have pretty strong views on these kinds of things given her strong and stable faith. She's not exactly known for being normal, let alone open-minded.

1. We seem to be committed to a hard brexit so need to offer all the corporate bribes possible to retain our tax income.
   
2. At the current level it is only worth extremely large corporations avoiding tax. They are less bothered by the headline rate and that's not how you tackle that issue.
   
3. It's an own goal and ties into the antibusiness narrative.
