How long are you there for? We used zipsim when we were there on holiday, super easy and worked everywhere really.

Very soft compound brake pads? and not riding it in the rain at all. Ultimately, it'll wear off pretty quickly though

I asked in the google thread but this might be a better place. Does anyone know of an extension for Chrome for inserting template text into rich text boxes / emails? In the same was as there are clippings in firefox.

Late May to late June. Where were you for 'everywhere'? TransAm is out in the badlands..

Ta. I reckon I'll do that and if I have any issues get something else on the road.

'everywhere'
Well, rocky mountains and NY. I had a decent signal through some semi remote mountain passes but I mean they were still decent roads that led to large ski resorts so not really surprising. Try this: https://zipsim.us/coverage . The main advantage was we ordered and prepaid the sim cards and had them delivered to our first stop on the trip so they were waiting when we arrived. Then (as I remember) all I did was pop the sim in and send a text with my zip code to them and they assigned me a phone number and texted me that everything was ready. I sound like a salesman here but it was really simple.

Bit late but days after our Umbrian honeymoon we received a lovely clear bonus holiday snap of our hired Ford C-Max in the post, having been caught doing 70kph in a 60 zone or something. Got a similar letter to you and to remove any worry paid up as we did indeed intend to return. I would be surprised if anything would be on record but didn't want the worry. Was impressed by receiving a photo, why can't we have that in the UK, makes a nice souvenir.

Got seriously weak google-fu at the moment
I am looking for a chainguard that bolts on in place of the outer ring, 130bcd for up to 42T - like this:However I can only find black - nowhere has silver except for the Shimano Alfine one, which costs £50!
Anyone know where I can get a silver one? -

That one plus wet and dry paper and elbow grease?

Where can I get single 3/32" shimano freehub compatible sprockets? I am building a single speed commuter and would like to get a magic gear. The conversion kit came with a 16 & an 18 but I would at least also like a 17 to play around with ratios.

https://www.tartybikes.co.uk/splined_sprockets/trialtech_sport_splined/c28p10410.html would be my first choice.

I'd rather not have the ramps and bias teeth, can shuck the chain annoyingly.

Did you get any sort of confirmation?

Eeee, it were almost 10 years ago. I think we paid by bank transfer and then phoned the friendly polizia to check we were all square.

I've used velo solo in the past.

Any rim you use a brake on will turn silver, the other option is to go for a black rim and then use a paint marker. For an "unnoticeable" brake track you'll have to go silver
