Maybe I underestimated, this says around 2m30 it should be.

I read/heard somewhere that 3s/km is what would be expected for a decent result for Quintana - I guess that's based on that being, more or less, what is expected of him, and thus they'd have taken that into consideration for what can be gained back later. Gives some goalposts to keep in mind while watching.

Virgin Media TV Anywhere is absolute ball stain. Getting tired of repeat/buffer issues and lag destroying my hopes of watching Giro stages now.

Assuming Domoulin is leading the GC this afternoon, it's going to be interesting to see what Quintana does next, in particular on the very late stages and how much effort he puts into them as the final TT on the penultimate day looks like this and I can see TD putting 1:30-2min in to Q there.

Possibly too soon to make this judgement, but it looks like excellent planning from the course designers to promote a contest right to the end.

Final weekend GT TTs are always very different, as everyone is tired and the time differences are usually significantly less than a TT in the second week.
That last week is savage, with 5 mountain stages in a row before the TT. I'd have thought Dumoulin would only fancy his chances if he's within a minute of Quintana.

Good point. The very consistent climbing shown by TD on Sunday reminded me of Wiggins - looking forward to seeing how he and Pinot copes

Kiriyenka is on the course, an outside bet for the win surely. Love that man

I can't believe that row of metal retainers is not better protected. It's like an episode of casualty waiting to happen.

When Tejay three-peats La Tropicale Amissa Bongo with WGG we'll see how wrong we were to doubt him.

I don't think so, but could still do some serious damage.

Shame he likes to keep such a low profile.
Have you read Richard Moore's book on Millar? Superb portrait despite not actually meeting him.

Ah - yeah, certainly could, but for a second I thought they may have been murder poles at a corner. Still wouldn't want to get caught up in them.

Kiry LOLing about the crash on his warm down made me love him even more.
Karma.
Same as that cheating Russian.
