Those claims of the %age of Irish exports of goods & services to the UK, are currently skewed, by the Irish Corporation tax rate, and sweetheart deals with, at least Apple. Buy a Dell pc in the UK, and it counts as an Irish export.
There is lots of agriculture too going to the UK, Irish milk being turned into English cheese for example.
