  • Goldtec had issues no?

  • Goldtec, yeah that was them!

Fuck, I need to get back into the skixxiefidders

  • Wasn't that a particular batch? I thought they had a solid reputation otherwise.

  • Unsure. FWIW I've had a few sets and they've always been bombproof. both their track and road hubs.

  • Dura Ace, EAI, or I like the Andel ones from Velo Solo too.

Basically stay with steel, avoid aluminium.

  • Ace, thanks all!

  • Anyone doing anything with http://www.london-revolution.com? I'm coming down to do mechanicing, could meet up for beer.

  • Beer was yesterday now drinking wine.

  • Where sells helicopter tape in central LDN?

  • If you find out where, I'll split a roll with you

  • Recommended independent bike shop for buying a hybrid on Cyclescheme, somewhere between Shoreditch and West London? All my recommendations are in East London, Brixton, or are fixie shops. Shameful I don't know this but I'd be happy to find out...

  • Has anyone had Italian traffic fines before?

Work up to a signed-for letter informing me I had a traffic violation.

There is a reduced rate if you pay

within 5 days of the notification date of this deed

...the covering pink post slip has a date of 9/05/17 so I think I may just be in time.

    Any tips or other experience?

    Cheers.

  • Micycle http://www.micycle.org.uk/ ? They were decent when I bought mine a few years back (Barnsbury Street) but I haven't been recently as I'm not that close any more.

  • Do you plan on going to Italy again? If yes, then pay it.

  • I have a .db3 file (it's text messages, contacts, etc backed up from an old Nokia phone many years ago). Opening it in Excel I see that it has the stuff in there but it's all messed up.

From what I gather it's an sqlite file. What's the easiest way to read this (Ubuntu or Windows)? Looking at the sqlite download page it seems to have a variety of command line tools but nothing else, I'm not sure if I'm missing something. Cheers.

  • Where can I buy a white cycling cap with 4 triangle panels. I plan on printing on it myself.

  • Bit shit really. Commuter focused.

  • This feels like a good place to ask ... does anyone here work either for a charity in any kind of management role or in a commercial entity in a role that deals with the company's charity work and CSR budget?

I'd love to speak with folks who are either of the above about a project I'm working on.

  • Excellent, that did the job. Thanks

  • Can 'external headset' forks be used on a frame with that has a 'semi intergrated' headset?

  • Yes, as long as the steerer diameter(s) and length are right. Might look a bit ugly, see for example about a million weight weenie bikes with THM Scapulas in place of the original integrated fork. There might also be a few edge cases where the fork crown hits the down tube, but as long as everything clears and the geometry is right, there is no functional difference.

  • I want some colourful road hubs, orange maybe, but ideally at less money than Chris King or White Industries.

    Any recommendations?

  • I'd look at Hope, maybe superstar do ano novatec road, too?

  • Silver hubs and coloured lenses.
