  • Tune Mig 70 / Mag 170 hubs with a Campagnolo freehub laced to a set of 30mm deep (25mm wide) carbon rims from Xiamen Carbon Speed. The rims have a unique braking surface that is super grippy and doesn't overheat on long descents. They also brake extremely well in wet weather. I used these wheels to test the effect of a heavy rider (me, 92kg) on a set of shallow section, low spoke count (20/24) carbon wheels, and they performed without issues over the three months I rode them. They've only been ridden around 1000-miles. The rear wheel rim is asymmetric, basically meaning they will stay truer for longer.

They are a lovely set of wheels that are still bang on true - built by me in February with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and brass nipples. The rear wheel has a very small amount of play which is very likely the bearings, though it might be the effect of the washers / spacers on the axles which may need a slight adjustment. It's hardly noticeable at all however.

The wheels are taped up for standard clincher use, but they're tubeless ready. The total weight of the wheels is 1383g with rim tape. I'll also throw in a set of ENVE qr skewers and ENVE brake pads. SOLD
