Centaur shifters need Centaur rear mech?

Ok, do I need to match my Campag shifters to the same rear mech? Currently have a bit of a bitzer groupset (which works ok) - Centaur 10spd brifters, Chorus chain set, Centaur front mech and... a Xenon rear. Which I'd like to change to a shiny one, hence the ask before investing :-)

there were 2 different 9 speed pull ratios to my knowledge for exa/ultra cassettes and the appropriate shifters/mechs but 10 speed should be same across the groupsets from what i recall.

as long as the rear mech is 10 speed compatible .......but xenon i would upgrade anyway
