It felt awful, but I think it was actually quite a fast day due to the low air pressure. I went 5 minutes dead faster than last year, so it can't have been that bad.
And @Cycliste beat our club women's record for a 50 by a hefty margin. She's now eying up the 100 record which looks eminently smashable.

@danstuff - did you find it a good day today? I thought it was pretty bad conditions overall. Seemed like some good times, but maybe that's just because fewer 'beginners' ride 50s.
