It's a collection of potential parts. I have mini-v's on the donor bike which I really like. I also have the option of the canti's which would be mainly for looks or full on Vs with the travel agents. If I went with the full V's I'd get some XT M739's for the parallel push. Unnecessary but I think they're cool!
The Paul brake booster is a real treat, I want to use it but I know it's kinda useless for the frame. It's already hella stiff and it would just be weight and like you say, a mud magnet. Similarly I've got a Paul chainkeeper that's unused as I've run a N/W ring up front the whole time I've had the donor bike.
Forks wise I'd like something pretty plain. Might just get the stock fork painted white to match the frame. On the hunt for a straight steerer fork on ebay etc. There's a matching Easton one for me somewhere out there...
