I've got some of those J&L titanium flat bars on a mtb/winter bike. Had them a few years and nothing untoward has happened.

I have one of the jerseys and one of the skin suits. Pad is a bit meh on the skinsuit, but still miles ahead of cheap ones from even a couple of years ago. Otherwise really happy with both, obviously not up to Rapha PT quality but feels a fair comparison in terms of value:quality.
Size wise I found it maybe a tiny bit more generous that PT sizing. I'm small in regular sportswool Rapha, med in PT and went for med from Spexcel. I would go with whatever size you'd get Rapha PT gear in

I've got two long sleeve jerseys. One winter with fleece and the other just a regular jersey. Only one minor issue with both - for me the sleeves are a bit long. Other than that, really good quality and I'm quite happy with them.

Do you know if the seatpost is suitable for oval rails ?
-
• #5806
No idea sorry, I'd be interested to find out though. I'm looking for a carbon saddle.
-
• #5807
I'm kind in a generic-chinese-carbon craze at the moment, I bought a fake SMP and I thought I bought this seatpost too. But then I realized the saddle had oval rails, so.
Anyway, I've asked the seller ; I'll be sharing my findings if I get an answer. -

Fake SMP will be my next purchase :)

Fake SMP here too, what's the consensus on best purchase? Gub seems pretty legit

My flat mount spyres arrived in about a week from Aliexpress, less than half price than anywhere in EU/UK and they came with rotors .. there is a post mount version too. £69.99 no duties and free delivery. I know the OEM pricing so even £69.99 is pricey.

Any of you chaps come across a 26.8mm crabon seatpost out East? I'm not having glittering success in searching for one...

seat post arrived. pretty happy with it. nice and light, though i got over excited and completely forgot to weigh it for those interested. went for 3k gloss. nice finish, couple of rough parts around the holes where the clamp bolts go in, but can hardly tell in the pics. not as fiddly to set up as i thought it would be. will update if i impale myself.

My jersey ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2017-ornot-short-sleeve-cycling-jersey-Bicycle-shirt-Breathable-quick-drying-mtb-bicycle-gear-in-stock/32802514097.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.7FElbi ) has turned up, seems really good quality. Sizing is snug.

I got the same post, but mine came with a different clamping mechanism (semi-circular, fits into the cut-out, albeit not very well). Odd...

Put the bolt in. It'll push the two wedges apart and as you tighten them, it squeezes the rails
Edit: just re read what you wrote. Mine was stiff when it arrived too. I put the bolt in a bit and gave it a bash with a soft mallet and one side came out. Then repeated the other. They haven't stuck again. I used a little dab of carbon assembly paste anyway -
• #5823
Got it. I didn't want to bash it too much but I wasn't sure whether it all moved together, or which parts I wanted to come out.
I might take them apart again and put a bit of paste around the inside of the ring.
Is yours still going well them?

The genuine Enve version says to put a little grease on the sloped faces of the wedges.
-

Good shout, it will probably reduce the chance of creaks too. I didn't realise it was a fake Enve.
im pretty sure i'd be vicer to buy something like caad for that money
