  • Anyone got any recommendations for a small rack top bag to fit on a salsa minimalist front rack? (Yes I know about the recall).

    I normally strap a small dry bag there with sleeping bag in, but would like something more accessible, for food, charger etc.

    I have toyed with switching to a rando bar bag but want to see what my options are for the rack first.

  • How accessible? like something to keep phone, maybe food etc. in it?

    My main concern is that there's no back on that rack to provide extra support, so it may slide around if you were to go for a rando bag like you said.

    Depend on the distance between the handlebar and the rack, an old school carradice saddle bag can work wonder, here's an example;

  • Lastly, given the footprint of your front rack, maybe a rack-top bag that's mounted on the front instead? something like this allow you to strap it directly on the rack with no interference with the handlebar, brakes, and most especially the shifter.
