I'm borderline psychotic now.

When they get a load of my accent and then see my massive, polished, shiny... calf muscles I'm sure they'll be flooding through the door to massage my sore bits better.
Is this why they ban the summoning of 'trail angels' hehe

Buff ok as long as lightweight one- good for covering mouth and nose when it gets dusty too.
Tinder isn't in the rulez.

I've got what I think is a thin buff. It's some free thing the missus got from somewhere.
I might look for a hot weather specific one - something breathable. -

Ice water is a good tip if it's available. It can be 80s in the mountains already and a cold sip feels amazing. I take 1 bottle and 1 vac flask of water even now, and throw ice in the bottle at each refill if possible.

If I moved there I'd change their country to C, like it should be.
I'm working slowing through this silly little island so they're all using metric. If we Brexit before my work is done I'll be pissed though. Well, at least until I move to Italy or Spain and fart in Britain's general direction.

The list of things this country should be doing is short and wide, but that's on there :)

Wtf is that saddle bag about?

That is seriously nice though, there was a great English bike on BCM with a rack integrated into the seat stays very clever stuff.

Nah, it's basically locked in. I just keep wanting to ditch stuff, but the sensible/safe old/boring cunt within me points out where it could come in handy, ie. not freezing to death up a mountain.
Basically I'm using a big Viscacha bag and want to ditch my down jacket and use a smaller saddle bag. But I'm paranoid about having a mechanical up a mountain or needing sleep and freezing so I'd rather hang onto it.

HEAVY SNOW EXPECTED FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND NORTHERN FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS THROUGH FRIDAY...
.A strong spring storm will drop south across the Great Basin tonight and Thursday. It then moves slowly east across Colorado Thursday night through Friday evening. Significant snow is expected with this storm if it continues on the current forecasted track. If the storm track moves further north, then the Southern Front Range Foothills may receive much less snowfall.
This storm is expected to bring rain and possibly snow to the Urban Corridor including the Denver Metro area. The coldest air and best chance for snow is expected to be Thursday night and Friday for the Denver area. Significant snow for the Denver area is possible.
WINTER Storm Warning REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT FRIDAY...
Timing: Snow will become widespread tonight and is expected to to continue through Friday afternoon.
Snow accumulations: 12 to 24 inches of snow expected with up to 36 inches on favored east slopes, including Rocky Mountain National Park.
WIND/VISIBILITY...Visibility will fall below a quarter mile in heavy snow.
IMPACTS: Roads will become snow and slush covered. Wet snow may accumulate on leafed out trees, resulting in broken hippy limbs and powermeter outages.

Small saddlebag, stuff the jacket up the back of your jersey to form an aero hump, then throw it away once the mountains are done.
Bingo! -

Pass. It's a £200 jacket.
Given the weather warnings I think it's sensible to carry it (I do sleep quite cold) and if it's really annoying post it to the finish. Maybe I could still use a smaller saddle bag and then force it in, smaller. But, this requires me to find a smaller saddle bag.. like now.

Small bags are a pain, nothing ever fits back in the way you want, especially when it's raining...

It doesn't have to be small, just smaller than the Viscacha. I'll probably just end up taking the Revelate since I know it works, even if it's a bit big. If the race all goes to shit, the bigger bag will give me room for "souven-beers".
Reckon a buff would do the job or will that be too much, too hot?
