Here we have an 80's Bianchi Vento road bike for sale.
Since owning the bike, I've fully serviced everything to give the best possible ride, but found that the bike has become more and more passed over in favour of one of my other more recent bikes, so I've decided to sell. Dibs are fine, but only when followed up by a PM.
Seat tube size is 58cm c-to-c, top tube 57 c-to-c. The Vento model isn't that common, although it seemed to have had quite a few generations, these continuing on into the 90's when the frames were still kitted with midrange Shimano kit, the 105sc that was out then.
My version is kitted with earlier generation 105 kit, as well as RX100 making up the rest of the gruppo, except for a Campag front mech and SR pedals. Wheels have Ambrosio rims with Exage hubs along with original tyres. Bars are ITM, stem is a Sakae. Saddle is a Concor Light, seatpost is a Kalloy. The cassette is a standard 7 speed Shimano HG one and chain is a Sedis. All parts show minimum wear. Bar tape is new as well as most of the cabling.
The frame tubing is Oria high tensile steel which I feel would be equivalent to the Columbus Cro-mor used later on the 90's version of the model. It's fairly light cro-moly and the downtube is specially profiled around the BB area which is a nice touch. Rear dropouts are Bianchi stamped.
Cosmetically, the paintwork in good condition, but with quite a few stone chips here and there which I've carefully touched up.
Ride it away for £150. The bike can be viewed in Hendon, NW4.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
