  • Rotor 3d24 I think

  • Yes. Had one for a month or so now - cf sl disc 9.0. Very happy with it - stable, light, unbelievably comfortable. Initially had to keep checking I hadn't got a flat with the suspension from enormo tyres (GP 4000s 28s that come up much wider) and and VCLS seatpost. Discs are a revelation.

Have swapped stock wheels for chinese crabon to shave off a bit of weight and because bling. Original wheels are getting cross tyres on this weekend for gravelling.

Was riding a Supersix Evo the other week and much prefer the Canyon (#dadfit) - much more confidence inspiring and way more versatile. Doesn't feel any slower up and definitely not down. Do wish I could have sprung for Di2 though...even Ultegra feels agricultural now.

One note - UPS delivery is unbelievably crap - the bike went to and fro between Germany and here twice before I got it. And Canyon initially sent it with a MTB seatpost and saddle before I got the correct ones. Hey ho - at least their customer service bods are pretty helpful.

  • It took canyon three attempts to send me the part I was after.

Before I throw these away, are they of any use to anyone?

  • Oh if I saw this a few months back I would have taken this off you in a heartbeat!

It also took me a while to get it, as the communication from the UK and Garman HQ is pretty poor in ordering stock from my experience as well.

I'm so happy with mine as it looks pro (whilst going super slow):

  • I got a power meter for my Aeroad :)

  • apc, PM sent...

  • Quarq with shimano?

  • @Dick school of thought

  • Best value, best quality, most reliable Powermeter with best value, best quality most reliable groupset.

    Can't really go wrong

  • oh you got Power2Max?

  • Oh, no, soz, thought we were discussing why someone would pair Quarq with Shimano. I don't concern myself with P2M and their silly coloured stickers.

  • Wow, all those benefits, shame about the aesthetics. P2M with the black "sticker" - job's a goodun, unless you're running SRAM.

  • Yeah P2M do need to up their aesthetics game - their nice, light, stiff, non-branded hollow carbon crank arms are so ugly..... oh, wait.... now I am confuse.....

  • Ah yeah - they just do little plastic spiders that like to crack..... 4gotz for moment

  • A lot of hate for the forums favorite PM.

  • TBH I've never ridden one, never owned one and I actually think they're probably one of the best looking power meters out there - I was just responding with the same virility with which I was greeted!

  • Plus, as a massive OCDer the SRAM / Shimano mix causes me a lot of conflict - I chose the Quarq based on a lot of research and one becoming available at a very good price virtually brand new in the flavour I needed - and I was running SRAM at the time!

  • Winner Winner 😘

  • Having owned both a P2M and a Quarq, I think I'd pick the latter if forced to choose. Both are excellent, but the battery cover on the former is a ball ache to fit.

  • Best of both worlds to avoid SRAM like plague

  • What is the maximum slick tyre clearance without mudguards on a Inflite AL? Also has anyone tried a 650b conversion?

  • as long as its Quarq version and not the RED version its cool imo
Also running Rotor chainrings, only reason I didnt get the DFour is because it has the DA9000 look and I dont like mismatched Shimano cranks/chainrings, so this would limit me to Running DA9000 chainrings :):)
