  • Texture was wonderful. We had the tasting menu, they took great care to ensure my need for non-dairy was catered for. They give you these crisps to nibble on whilst you are deciding what to have, no idea what the fuck the are but they are like crack. They also replenish bread supplies throughout the meal.

    Tasting menu
    Yellow fin tuna with ginger, soy, fennel and coriander
    Asparagus with goat’s cheese snow and hazelnuts
    Anjou Pigeon with chargrilled sweetcorn, shallot, bacon popcorn and red wine essence
    Smoked eel, bonito broth, quinoa and turnips – my favourite of the night
    Veal with white asparagus, sugar snap peas and saint george’s
    Pre- dessert – some sort of watermelon sorbet with jelly
    Alphonso mango, passionfruit soup, sorbet and snow peas

    As we were leaving they stopped us to give us some skyr to take home (sadly I cannot eat it but Simon was very happy)
