Odd, I thought vans were normally cheaper to insure because there's nothing of 'em and parts are cheap, etc.

That's what I thought, plus insurance doesn't cover contents (tools). I insured a dirty big sprinter when I was younger and it was cheap.
But £1200 for a small transit is mad.

I'll have to look around more.

We used price comparison sites and the one that starts with A usually was cheapest.

Admiral, that's them.
