Front brake is a cable actuated drum, rear is either a cable actuated drum or a coaster (which is as you say a form of drum brake), depending on the local tradition.

Elite Ciussi, by the look of it

This is a circa 1984 "Murray" Track bike. It is a U.S. Olympic Team bike (see picture of Olympic sticker), most likely one of the practice bikes. It was used from 1984-1992 and then was stored until now. Following the Olympics, the 7-11 team used the bike and then it was sold to a Jr Team.

It has bladed spoke wheels with 400g glue-on tires.

This is a RARE vintage bike. For those not aware, this is not a Murray brand. Murray sponsored the team. It is most likely a Serotta frame.
