but to reiterate the point by PhilDAS this was rivetted on and someone has snapped the rivets, i would just glue it in place, as i'll probably do with a current project i'm working on. (though i knocked the rivets off from inside the head tube which makes alignment a bit easier in the future as half the rivet is still on the head badge)
