Hmm... they look a bit more like North Road/Moustache bars to me. I second not putting shifters on the stem. That always looks horrible to me. Bar end shifters could be another option.

One additional thought. Even if those tyres are unworn, you might want to replace them, just for safety's sake, if they've been sat in a shed for decades.

these are velo orange. they also do thumb shifters so you can get everything from them if you like it. you'll need some kind of cable guide for the downtube if i'm not mistaken
