I went to My Neighbours, the Dumplings in Lower Clapton Road last night. Some very decent vegan options, amazing vinegar, and a very lovely taste experience. Several vegan staff are apparently working on the owner to go fully vegan (they currently serve meat). Fingers crossed they prevail. They also have a little bar in the basement and are expanding the venue to the back to create a lovely little warren of hospitable rooms. A great venue local to me where I'll be going more often.

God I hope not, that's like half their menu gone... the best dishes at that!

I was talking about pork dishes and the like. In the Vegan Thread, it's somewhat unlikely that these would be considered worth preserving. They'd only be replaced by much better vegan dishes, of course. :) Anyway, I didn't get the impression that any such move was imminent.
