It just stays in place. I wear a baselayer to keep it away from my skin.

That looks similar to the one I use. I use a platypus big zip 1.5L. And I put a camelbak mouth piece on it as they're better.

I've got the same bladder @skinny mentions that doesn't work for me due to my existing aero fairing aka beer gut. You want to test it out? You do seem pressed for time though so depends where you are.
