23mm tape wrapped round the various curves and corners of a tubeless rim bed comes to 19mm edge to edge as the crow flies.

Couldn't find any Stans sealant locally the other day so used Magic Milk. Kinda worked until it got wet... apparently it's water soluble (?!) so it just kept leaking after that. Sealed with an anchovy in the end. First puncture I've had with tubeless since switching to Stans, which may be luck or it may be that Magic Milk is shit.
None of this is very scientific.

I think the Schwalbe Doc Blue is made by Stans. Perhaps that is available locally.

Anyone using Schwalbe Procore?

Huck Norris look like an interesting, cheaper option.

But you lose the ability to keep riding if you do get a puncture.

Another one suggested to me by @t_w I prefer the look of this over ProCore and Huck Norris.

Unless you are doing a lot, a co2 must work out cheaper over 100 years

That's unsurprising, as they require a phase change to generate the gas volume. If you could get a very high flow rate out of the top, the bottom would freeze. CO₂ extinguishers use exactly this principle to generate dry ice in the expanding nozzle. Airshot and Flashcharger just rely on adiabatic expansion of pressurised gas, not a phase change.

Did you recommend a cheap source for thubeless rim tape?

I might have mentioned Tesa 4289 before. A strapping tape, which is essentially the same stuff as Stan's yellow tape.

For anything wider than 25mm, I've just used Gorilla tape.

That's the one.

I've not found that tape in 21mm, annoyingly. 19mm is a smidge too narrow, 25 is waaay too wide for road/CX.
