London Mechanics Wanted - Fair Pay & Flexible Hours :D

We’re Honor Cycles, an on-site & on-demand bicycle servicing company with a bit of a B-Corp social good agenda. We’re employee owned, so our mechanics have a very real say in how the company develops and you get to benefit from our growth. No more of this “don’t bite the hand that feeds” BS.

We’re looking to hire some freelance mechanics for a 5 day repair extravaganza in North London. We can pay a flat £550 for the 5 days and this would include professional insurance cover for a whole year to work as a freelance mechanic.

We’ll have other repair events and on-site repair jobs going on in the coming months so this would be a good way to become part of our registered mechanics, get insured, start working flexibly, and be a part of the Honor Cycles team. The idea being that as soon as we have enough regular clients we would hire you full time and make you a shareholder of the company so that you can help us shape it and benefit from its growth.

Quick update to this job post:

Location is now confirmed. It's going to be near Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Overground station, so not that far north and easy to commute to :)

Dates are Monday 15th of May > Friday 19th. It's a bit later than originally planned but it means you'll have more time to book time-off / schedule for it.

The job is to help us service & clean a fleet of 200 single speed bikes for 5 days. The bikes are all identical and mechanically very simple, so you don't have to be hydraulic DI2 savvy to join us.

Tools, food, coffee, Post-work beers, music etc will be provided. We want to make this fun!
