That movie traumatized me...In my 30s.
Well no childhood is completely without one book or movie that messes you up for life ;)

Yep, mine was "A Thief In The Night", saw it as kid.

That movie traumatised me...
Mine was Threads.
BBC film but at the time (and it shows) it was, and still is, acurate. No wonder Thatcher hated it

Oh yeah most depressing movie i ever saw... I think it messed me up for a week.
And i watched it in my 30s.
"Where the wind blows" a graphic novel about an old couple after the bomb went up messed me up too when i was about 14.
Good preparation for nihilism :)

My 15 year old, Alfie - known by many on here - shattered his thumb and wrist a couple of weeks ago and has been in plaster and bandages since.
I took him into St Thomas' today to have a new plastic splint fitted. When they removed the dressing, there were a number of equations/formulae written on his arm underneath where the bandages had been. This explains the good results he's been getting in his recent maths and science tests...

Strong. But in all seriousness - teach them how and when to use the formulae, not memorise them.

I thought you were going to say that no-one had any idea how the formulae got there...
She sounds badass
