It was my that gave you the thumbs up from the pace line. Was struggling to hold the wheel in front so wasn't in a very chatty mood. Will say hi properly next time.

Was this the ridic quick one with the guy in the middle on the deep sections wishing he'd bought 40mm rather than double 88mm?

I believe so. Some of those guys were seriously rapid.

We were pacing at about 26/27mph going north from park square east and some guy just sprinted from the back, straight to the front and did a mammoth turn for about 3 minutes. I was in awe to be honest.
