If you have enough Geo info you should be able to plug it in here;

I have been doing exactly that for the past 2 seasons - seems to be holding up fine.

I'm hating the look of the current sram red cranks, will the 10 speed ones work with the latest red 22 or is the spacing wrong? Assuming I have the correct chainrings of course.

I normally buy that kind of stuff on ebay.
Or these https://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/equipment-c3/tents-shelters-c25/tent-accessories-c33/other-tent-accessories-c315/reflective-accessory-cord-p4933/s20649? or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nite-Ize-Reflective-Nylon-Rope/dp/B004MMEHTC (may not be elastic)

Perfect! Found some cheap 3DF cranks on ebay minus rings .. need to run 1x anyway.
Now I hope I can run them using 4130 BB on this frame which says BB86.5.
Did you just remove the old bearings and pressed the rotor ones in?

11spd chain should work fine on 10spd rings.

• #83534
Yep, the internal width is the same for both 10 and 11 speed chains.

Cheers.
I'm tempted to try aliexpress. Not sure why it only seems to be a US thing. I have a bike cargo net made out of the stuff, but it seems a bit much to buy a cargo net and then dismantle it!

Yeah but weight weenie tho.

Sweet, guess I'll probably go for that then. Trying build up a nice, slim lined bike and nearly all current cranks look horrid and bulbous.

Not carbon but quite understated. Old Red are sweet though

Those weigh a ton

yup - knock out the old bearings and press in the new ones. The 4130 bearings were noticeable stiffer than normal bb30 ones to start with - soon loosened up though.

100g more than red 22 or exogram. Doesn't seem unreasonable

Zayante: 712g (172.5mm with 50/34 rings)
Ultegra 6800 supposedly 765g for 53/39 with BB, which would be 77g, so 688g.Zayante reportedly a whole load stiffer than Ultegra.
6800 RRP £250, currently £160 on CRC. Zayante seems to be £200 everywhere. I got mine barely used from eBay for £77 posted.

I've got 10sp Red cranks on my S-Works with 11sp Rival. Doesn't work as perfectly as Kate's bike (Full 11sp Red) but does work. I think the chainring spacing is a little tighter on the 11sp cranks.

Update on the shimmy: I took the rear rack off and it stopped. The rack is a super sturdy yepp number, and I think it stiffens the back up so much that it sends all reverberation back to the front somehow. I tried to remedy by putting leather washers in between the screws and eyelets. Also pulled the sliding dropouts forward on the wolverine a bit. Let's see if that makes a difference tomorrow.

Just get a Zefal.

But he said radavist ... doesn't that mean it's gotta be $$$$$$$

I don't want it to be be mega bucks, just good at inflating tyres without looking a bit naff
It's not going to kill you. The bit of the washer which is past the end would be grabbing air anyway.
Not all chains have half links available. They are not universal, as the pin diameter and plate thickness have to match the rest of the chain.
