I'll probably be setting off around around 20th/21st July. That sounds like a great ride, what are your other route plans?

I'll be long gone by then as I will set off for the Turin to Nice rally on the 22nd.
I have different options, some thoughts on this separate thread. I am a bit concerned the whole Rhine valley could be quite a repetitive landscape after a while, although I am sure the infrastructure is great. Also would save a lot of route planning.

@speculoos when in July are you going?
I am setting off from London on or before the 3rd of July, heading for my hometown Cesena in Italy, need to be there not later than the 20th. I am still deciding the route, but this is one of the alternatives. I will have more free time in two weeks, I will start looking at the route more into details then.
