Anyone read this; is it clickbait shit as per from CW or actually decent? I assume clickbait.

I've not, but isn't that old news? There was a survey, I think in Germany, ages ago that basically had large percent of respondents using doping products.
The UK figures:
http://www.comresglobal.com/polls/bbc-sport-amateur-sports-doping-survey/ -
• #6329
"ComRes interviewed 1,025 British adults, who are members of sports clubs / teams / gyms"
The gym members will be pushing the average way up. Also if they surveyed any rugby teams.

See that survey is BS.
Doping products; asthma inhalers.
Erm, no they're not.
And performancing enhancing products, don't we all?
That's want I wanted, I bet whatever CW's survey is, it's bias questions.

And performancing enhancing products
Should I be feeling guilty for my morning macchiato?

Only if it's a euphemism.

DOPER. Calls UKAD anonymous tip line.

• #6334
What evidence that Edwards was clean?
-
• #6335
He's a committed Christian.
-
• #6336
None whatsoever, entirely based on the lack of any substantiated rumours etc.
-
• #6337
Surely the only 'evidence' that someone is clean is the lack of evidence of the opposite?
-
• #6338
He's a committed Christian
And nobody in history has ever used ostentatious religiosity as a cover for criminality.

Can't race Sunday.
LOLz
Should be in the 'dopey' thread >>>

The old adage 'you can't prove a negative'. So you can't but there's never been the whispers like there is/was around Coe, Radcliffe and Farah to cause overt suspicion. Also the triple jump is a highly technical discipline rather than just running around in circles....
That said strength and speed would be enhanced by drug use, have many triple-jumpers tested positive?
-

have many triple-jumpers tested positive?
The word "Triple" appears 24 times on this list:

That's a big ol list, however I would speculate that proportionally it's less than pure track events.
I don't why I'm going into bat for him, I don't give a shit about Edwards, but I have literally read or heard no chatter about him.

BBC employee innit.

But he was godly while he was competing. Got on Songs of Praise and everything.

Yeah, the no needles policy was lined up to be the 11th commandment. It just got left of the list because they thought 10 was a catchier number.

If Jonathan Edwards is ever found to have doped I think I'd cry. He was my hero (along with Colin Jackson, both I've now realised are more or less personality vacuums) when I was a young athlete. I represented my county at triple jump because I wanted to do what he did!
-
• #6349
I didn't even know he was an athlete.
Oh, triple jump, that explains it.

Words can hurt you know...
They did it in cycling with things like bike types and superman position. Just have old set of records for *probably doped but we can't prove it and new records.
