• Shifting bike + parts to make room for new stuff.

Specialized Tricross sscx from a while back size 58.

I thought I bought it on here for cheapz but I can't find thread nor PMs. Anyways I bought this cheap because of seized shit and a lose bottle cage boss.
I have amended these things, cleaned threads and over all TLC.

I have raced the bike last season, but in general it has seen very little use. Everything is sort of new and fresh still.

    O P T I O N 1 :

    Complete

    Specialized Tricross 58
    Full carbon forks

    I N C :

Avid Shorty 6 brakes with fancy Swissstop pads and better yokes.
    Shimano 5700 175mm cranks
    KMC Chain
    SRAM 40T chainring
16T, 19T and 21T Surly cogs + SS spacer kit.
    Wheelset 1: 32h Shimano 5800 on A719 rims
Wheelset 2: Ultegra hubs on Velocity Major Toms (I think. They where free from @Jon. ) with glued on Specialized Terra tubs. Rear rim has a dent but rides fine for cx.
Both wheelset are a little gritty and rims are obviously used, but you don't feel it when riding.
San Marco saddle (obs not the one in the photos)
Uno Stem black 100mm 7 degrees (obs not the one in the photos)
Set back seatpost black 27.2 (not the Zipp in the photos)
SPD pedals (old ones and not the ones on the photos)
    Deda RHM 01 bars 460mm
    Jagwire Pro cables

    300 gbp

    O P T I O N 2 :

    Frame + Forks + headset + brakes

    100gbp

Disclaimer: Fork judder is included in the price ;-)

  • I had one of these a few years ago. Bought and sold on here so who knows, could be this exact frame. Anyhow, it was a lot of fun and a solid buy. GLWS

  • They can build up nice!

  • Are you saying mine isn't nice? Wut?

  • Haha no it's rad. Them forks though

  • :)

I binned the original forks. I quite like these kinesis forks. They look a lot like the ritcheys ^ imo

  • Definitely a worth while upgrade. The originals are something else

  • Obviously this frame was a bit too small for me. Slamming the stem and lowering the seatpost would do wonders I reckon

  • I'm sort of tempted myself but would only want the frameset. Its 120mm rear?

  • It is 120mm rear, but I am running 130mm hubs on both wheelsets.
I'll sell the frameset to you, but @sacredhart has first dibs on complete if he wants it.

    And some measurements:
Seat tube center to top is 585mm
Seat tube center to center is 525mm
Top tube center to center is 560mm
    Effective top tube is 570mm

I am 6ft3 / 190cm. My BB to top saddle is 850mm and 1025 from pedal to saddle top. I hav long legs but prefer short reach.

  • Okay, I'd possibly be interested in the cranks too
    Let me know

  • Ok. Cranks are so nice for the money. Had they been 110 bcd i would keep them for my future build.

  • Oop sorry @Hulsroy as per my pm I think this will be too big for me. I need a size down I reckon at 5'10

  • In the meantime, I've found something else too I'm afraid

  • No worries. Ill let it sit a bit. Moving house soon and getting more space so maybe I'll just keep it.

  • This is lovely and I'd be all over it if it was a tiny bit smaller. If Hulsroy isn't using it someone really should buy it.

  • This is off the market now. Decided to keep it and fix it up a bit.

  • are you still intrested in selling it?

  • I did sell it sorry
