Took three photographs for the weekly contest, entered the first to successfully upload to Flickr (which is a massive pain in the arse for me, is it the same for everyone?).

These are the two that lost:

I brought myself a decent camera (Panasonic Lumix GM5) thanks to @amey. It is the first decent camera I've owned since my college days in 2008ish! So its all new to me, lots and lots to learn.

However, these are my favourte photos from leeds this weekend with my girlfriend. Any criticism is welcomed!

I like the portraits.
I think both would benfit from shallower depth of field and some exposure adjustment, if I were you I would familiarize myself with the camera enough so you can adjust all the manual settings on the fly.

Fun fact: I was stopped by the police yesterday evening where that van is parking because I didn't have my lights clipped on.
They were super chill though and just "reminded" me that it's always good when other people see you, as those are "dark areas"

Thanks! Yeah the camera is new and that was my first day having a proper go.

I need to spend more time with it tbh.

We're you in the area on May day? Police everywhere but yeah, they seemed relaxed and were mostly reclining in the vans eating pastries.

Yea I was in the area, not part of the demo or "MyFest" but close by.
May day has been successfully commercialised as we like to say here in Kreuzberg, it's just police and drunk tourists now basically..
