Thought you were building that up for touring?

@psg1ben Mate, I just finished 500kkm rides with the bike fully loaded with 20kg of clothes and tools.
I have come to realise, that the total weight.... is f***** hard to push and keep a steady cadence...
It's such an amazing bike for city slicking and deliveries, but damn I learnt a lot on this bike from doing big rides this week. The weight is a big issue (when loaded with my touring gear). Otherwise it's ultra fast without luggage on the rack.
Today, I went to Windsor and back and I was struggling to decide if I should sell it.
I am sad to have to let it go (not sold yet). So... I am still going touring but with a road bike and frame bags...

Fair enough, that's a shame it sounded like a good idea. I wouldn't be brave enough to take my cargo bikes touring mind.

Took this one through france recently 340km in 3 days was pretty heavy going but not terrible, carrying around 30+kg of climbing gear each.
We wont mention that was the trip my knee caved on the way back though :D -

what was your speeds like? 1x10?
Also did you carry unnecessary weight?
EDIT: my bad, I read your auction, it's a 10 speed. But did you carry alot?

We carried too much IMO. Had we just been touring and not rock climbing also then it would have been fine but our weight was more ham doubled with climbing gear, ropes crashpad shoes harnesses etc.
With a load around 20kg we would have been chill. We still made 340kg in 3 days which I think was pretty good considering the amount of gear we were carrying.
