I have those sunrace shifters in 9 speed. Don't buy them is my advice.
Indexing is off and weak, never shifted nicely, no friction modeTo counter that, mine haven't skipped a beat. Running them with Shimano Deore RD-M592 rear mech and Alivo 9sp front mech.

I have the sunrace thumbie (LH Friction) and shimano altus trigger shifter (RH) in a 3 x 7 setup, and it's absolutely rock solid.
having a friction shifter which allows you to trim the FD is great.

Looks like a haulin colin

Seems to have lowrider and canti attachment points, can't see anything like that on their site, although it could be custom, of course.

yes, but no mudguard mounts!

Sup Hive mind.
Im interested in building up a Tourer (I've caved) So I am looking for a reasonably priced bike with racks, guards, bottle cage mounts and disc brakes with drops and possibly wider tyres.
What are my options?
Also, as I ride a Cinelli Mash, the geo on the tourers is weird. How do I convert A 54*54?

Kaffenback?

You probably don't want a hhsb-bikes geo to tourer, so probably wiser to look for recommendations based on your height
-
• #15310
you need a spreadsheet

Only on the rear, I wonder why 😰
-
• #15313
You need loads of mounts? or bikepacking?
Loads of mounts = Surly/Salsa
Bikepacking = Anything labelled 'gravel' or even CX -
• #15314
You need a size 54 sequoia with a stem that's a bit shorter
Just like your Mash, designed in the US made by children in Asia and hyped by prolly..uhhh...the radavist

How big's your budget?
Have you looked at the Marin Four Corners or Marin Nicasio? -

Im thinking around the 1k mark for a new bike.

Well, I ride a Cinelli Mash with a rack already!!!
I want mudguards and large tyre clearance and disc brakes. So loads of mounts.

I do like the look of the Kona Sutra though
-
• #15322
I'd get the kona or a straggler/crosscheck/lht
I love my lht but it's heavier than an oil tanker when loaded up. -
• #15323
I'd get Four Corners Elite - and just ride jah bike.

Meh, they'll all do the job I guess so it's down to fit, hype and brand preference!
At least they're probably all easy to find locally for a test ride.My lht isn't heavy enough so I'm getting an ogre too...
the new Kona Rove and Jake look on point:
