I finally got the home studio set up yesterday. Will upload a pic later. Got the big Celestions up on shelves and have used hi-fi amps as speaker stands for the nearfield monitors.
The missus was away last night so I managed to squeeze in some recording between the eating of meats, drinking of wines, smoking of rollies. Pretty happy with the results too. Of the recording I mean. The meat/wine/fags bit was a roaring success too. Obviously.
The new track features BQ's old Danelectro shortscale bass which I set up last week. It just needed a truss rod tweak and the bridge lowering a bit. It intonates properly now and is playing like a dream. Still sounds thuddy and fat. Dig.
