Sadly this is nothing to do with Government, only an APPG - not even a Committee. APPGs are pretty much lowest of the low when it comes to having any influence on the government, and the APPG on cycling will be seen as a collection of eccentric fruitloops by Grayling et al.
It's better than nothing I suppose, and all helps with a gradual building of evidence that change needs to happen, but don't expect any genuine changes any time soon!

Not sure if this is the best place for it, but finally the government seems to have become aware of what we have been complaining about for years, how lenient the courts are to dangerous drivers that kill or injure cyclists. Hopefully the days of 'I didn't see him guv' being enough to get you off will be over.
