• Something very rare and unique I have for sale this time. It's an Gazelle Champion Mondial made out of Reynolds 753 tubing. Frame is used so it has some paint chips here and there. Last owner unfortunately engraved his postal code in the seattube. It has no structural damage like cracks or rust issues. Unfortunately it has a small dent on the toptube which is clearly visible in the pictures. Framenumber is 3213477 which dates it 1978.That was also the first year that the Champion Mondial with the Reynolds 753 tubes was produced, which makes this frame again extra special, since it is probably one of the first champion mondial frame's produced with 753 tubing. Colour is matt black, with gold decals. In my opinion one of the best colour combinations produced by gazelle.

Back in 1978 this was the most expensive gazelle that was available, made from Reynolds 753 tubing. Frameset is extremely light for it's time, less then 2kg. Price of the frame at the time was around EUR 600 ( 1200 gulden). When I bought the bike it came with a Campagnolo Super record groupset. Last owner told me that he paid 3600 gulden (€1800) for the complete bike back in 1978.
