Had issues with Terra-Nova carbon pegs on soft marshy ground.
Ended up with Alpkit Y pegs, and some XL Y pegs, tend to mix and match nowdays.
I use the XL for the 4 main pegging points and the shorter/normal ones for everything else, this is better than whittling new pegs from driftwood because the wind caught the tent and lifted it and the carbons pegs just kinda get sucked under soft ground never to be seen again.
