I find them comfortable, just the rattly left levers is what stopping me (and not in silver).

you mean the rattly left shifter?
SRAM single speed levers don't have a return spring, so the lever needs fixing in place.
Easiest I've found is just to use electrical tape: the other methods get FUBAR when someone inevitably comes along and gives your levers a squeeze.
