Great job keep going. I found Gert Jan Theunisse's 1988 bike in similar condition and I just cleaned everything. It looks pretty good and I believe better to do that than repaint. I'd leave the campy that's already on it, it's accurate to the time frame of the bike and most likely the original parts.
