my 'beater' tark build has ended up as fillet brazed MAX OR with Campag Pista cranks, Phil/Hplus wheels and all the baubles under the sun which is pretty fucking daft.

I may be moving to Denmark howeever which is probably the only place you could lock it up to go to the pub without losing a few kilos in sweat.

I've heard speak of Denmark as a veritable paradise of being able to leave gold plated Colnagos in the street tied up with only a wisp of a virgin maiden's hair and returning to find that they've not only been un-stolen but that kindly natives have degreased your drivetrain and inflated your tyres for you. Srs though-can't be worse than the UK where it's double Krypto everywhere as a matter of course.

I guess it's also dependant on where in our otherwise cyclist friendly nation you are. And luckily there are enough shitty locking going on, for even single Krypto to be better than most and thus make sure you still have a ride when you're done drinking.
