And we're about the same weight despite my giving up about 10inches in height so that's good to know it can handle it. ;)

Are there any (preferably straight blade) carbon forks with rack-mount eyelets and normal steerer diameter that anyone would recommend?

( @Danyutz )
Apols for the blurry first image.
23mm Conti GP4000SII on 23mm wide Kinlin Xc-279 rim.
Perspective of the second image throws the measurement a bit but when looking at it straight on, there's nearly 40mm between the legs at the point a tyre sidewall might rub.
Looks like height rather than width would be the limiting factor.
28s for sure, widthways should be able to fit 32s but could be very close to crown (which at that point is all alu by the way, so you could file the fork to fit the tyre).

Not that size I meant, Lukas, here, check the pic, i need that measurement for the inside.
Haven't tried the fitment, but it looks fab!

I'm a bit confused...
- Width/depth of fork leg at roughly the point illustrated on your image = 46mm
- Distance between fork legs at approximately the same point = 55mm
- More accurate measurement of width under crown (to gauge tyre width) = 40mm-ish

1st picture clears is for me. What I meant was the width of the inner leg.
Thanks mate!

Any straight blade carbon disc forks??

My fake jawbreakers turned up yesterday. They're good. Feel quality, fit fine. For Β£13 would definitely recommend. They come with Oakley case, 3 lenses etc and even an Oakley "register your eyewear" card :)

Nnnnnope

• #5774
Better not?

carbon stems generally aren't worth it unless it's a genuine Enve or similar. They are usually less stiff and not any lighter than aluminium ones.
Not dead yet, no issues with it at all. Bought one for my bro and his is fine too :)
