In the very unlikely event of splitting I might be interested in the frameset.

I'll take the bars and big apples if you split, and also maybe framebag and wheels

I got something else in the meantime and therefore most probably can't afford it.

Price drop to £700. I know it's a niche bike...but think about how boss you'd be riding around on some 29 x 2.35" Big Apples.

Now willing to part out. Mostly just want the frameset off my hands. PM me with offers.

No longer for sale. Decided to keep this beast.
For a review that I wrote (and some not-so-recent photos), look here:

This bike has been to Colombia, Cuba, and mountain biking around the Highlands, in addition to occasional commuting and riding the South Downs Way. So, it does have some wear/scuffs to the paint, but there are not many instances.
I built the entire bike up myself (wheels hand-built as well) about a couple of years ago when I was bike mechanic in Canada. I reckon it has about 3,000km on it in total. Chain has another 1-2,000km, cassette is great, chainrings are perfect.
Bike is 100% mechanically sound except for the following, very small issues:
-Rear derailleur (XTR M950) was snagged in a branch in Cuba. Fixed it up with a new spring and bent it back to shape in a vice. Shifts as good as before, but just something to keep in mind.
-Non-drive crank arm is a black (non-matching) Hove model. Previous crank arms' pedal threads were stripped. I just didn't get around to sanding down the crank arm like I have with the drive crank (gotta have it all silver!)
Hopefully the photos can show most of the current condition. I won't name every part, but a few stand-out components are:
-Mish-mash drivetrain. Saint 3x9, SRAM PG 990 cassette, XTR rear, XT front, Deore 3x9 crank (sanded down silver). Sounds like a grab-bag, but it works flawlessly.

This bike is ready for a very long, off-the-grid, self-supported bike tour. Or just some overnight bikepacking. It's a blast to ride and is a real looker. I had plans of going on another long trip using this one, but it looks like things aren't panning out that way.
Asking £1,000. I'm based in E5. Collection only.
(It seems like the image uploader on this site is pretty crap. So I've attached a few new ones, but will hopefully sort something better out tonight.)
