  • The Dig was beautiful in many ways, but the puzzles were a joke. I waited for years for that game to come out, and was pretty bummed by the final product. I don't think I ever beat it.

    I've also never beaten Grim Fandango... Wish I had more time.

    Did you play Broken Sword (and its sequels)? They've also been remastered and the first one is a gem.

  • It was super-linear but the puzzles were fun, but not Monkey Island fun. Still, it holds up with the best game writing though. Loved Grim Fandango. Played the Broken Swords and the (flashback) Gabriel Knight series too.

    They were way too obscure for me. I spent ages, as a kid to be fair, just wondering around with no clue what I was doing or what was going on.

    Still, atmosphere was excellent. Reinstalled it a couple of years ago and still found the start amazing. But then got stuck at a puzzle involving some glowing rods or something.
