The Final Station is the price of a (cheap) pint on Steam right now. I'd say it's worth it.

Caved and bought GTA V on the third platform now (xbox 360, xbone & now PC) after this trailer dropped yesterday:

Such fond memories of playing MMv3 back in the day. Hopefully lives this up to my nostalgia.

This is why i'm hyped for the GTA update. I'd already been hyped by that trailer....

what's Dark Souls exactly?
It's a contemplation on the futility of existence, an exploration of the hollow depths of depression, the endless cycle of death and life, but mainly death, a world where your presence is an irrelevance, yet some hope exists in the embers of a dying bonfire

Shadow of Mordor... A quicktime event final boss fight... fuck you game devs.
-
• #17069
Ha, although to be fair, the combat system is essentially a string of quick time events.

£15 is about the real-world value I would put on the amount of content in the game. if i'd paid full price i'd have been pissed.
the game just feels unfinished. everything is too sparse and simplistic it's more like a really big gameplay demo

It also suffers from the Assassin's Creed problem of there just being too much side-questy things, with the added BS of them having a potential real impact of the main story line (or at least, the fights) if you ignore them.

I could use some suggestions for games that can be played with one hand - mouse only or mouse + keyboard but not simultaneously. Think Civ IV type controls. I just had some surgery and will be one handed for a few months. I am currently downloading Thimbleweed Park from Steam but that won't last too long before I finish it. Other suggestions worth considering? Ta.

How about the remastered LucasArts pointy clicky stuff?
-
• #17074
Played it all BITD on my 486 with 4MB graphics card. And some of the re-issues - I remembered all of the secrets and combinations of items. Shame they didn't remaster The Dig. What a game!

The Dig was beautiful in many ways, but the puzzles were a joke. I waited for years for that game to come out, and was pretty bummed by the final product. I don't think I ever beat it.
I've also never beaten Grim Fandango... Wish I had more time.
Did you play Broken Sword (and its sequels)? They've also been remastered and the first one is a gem.
he's definitely entertaining.
