Just got these space slippers. Switching from SPD to Speedplay I thought I'd go HAM. Unfortunately for me the best fitting shoes were also the most expensive. The build quality and detailing is miles beyond Giro though, the other fitting-well option.

are pretty Insta friendly at the moment, probably struggle to find for £200 though.

If you are after lacy shoes then Louis Garneau do two models, the "signature '84" and the cheaper "LA 84" (with plastic soles). The quality doesn't seem as good as the Empires, and they aren't particularly stylish but they are considerably cheaper.
I've just got a pair of the signature ones and will give them a test ride at tonight's TT but they look and feel ok out of the box.
