There was a policeman on a bike just by that junction about 6 weeks ago and I asked him how to cross on to the cycle lane legally. He said he didn't know and gestured vaguely in the direction of ken high street. I asked him what he did when he had to use the junction. He said the bike was just a prop and he didn't cycle in London as it is too dangerous.
