They don't track you and are much less 'product' oriented than Google so tend to get better answers to most questions.

Are these Deda Piega Bars the ones with the compact drops shape to them? I know there's two types and I want the compact ones
-
• #83304
Dimensions are on the Deda web site
http://www.dedaelementi.com/?product=piega
Curve on the current version is Deda RHM, which is their name for compact, but Piegas have been around for a while in various shapes so you need to check with the seller if you're unsure. -

Especially as Wiggle has been selling the compacts with a picture of the ergos on the product page before

Just noticed the tweed run is owned and run by a company called Bourne & Hollingsworth; have teddy and jacqui sold the concept to someone else or suttin?

Yep

Is there a feature in Chrome to find out the originating link for a tab? Basically I have a tab open after clicking a link to open in new tab (on Friday afternoon) and I can't remember what I clicked on to get there.

here goes nothing...
Saw someone with a nice jacket on the commute in this morning. It was fairly bright blue with a red strip across the back of the shoulders. It had pit zips so I assume it's a sporty jacket of some description. Any ideas?!
Even more useless info - worn by someone on a genesis, just after Queens Road Peckham - tell me you're "on here"!

Does Chrome, along with Firefox, respond when clicking on 'Open in a new tab'
that turns out to be a pdf, (that is downloaded), resulting in a blank tab? -
• #83312
I have Chrome set as my default PDF viewer, so it wouldn't ever do that. But the tab I'm talking about above is just a web page.
-
• #83313
I don't think it's possible - opening in a new tab starts a separate session.
You could try typing window.history.back(); in the console but it basically does the same as the back button on the browser.
Since you know it was from Friday, could you just look in your history for clues?

I think the @amey -recommended one is the perforated variety.
-
• #83315
Yep, that one is too thick. Perforated one ages well too.

Cheers - yeah I ended up reconstructing my click journey from my history.

Ive been offered a wheel set of shimano 105 hubs built onto mavic open pro rims. Been told only 6 months use and look like they are in good condition.
Any ideas what they are worth? I'm new to road bike parts but starting to build a frame up.

Is it a 10 or 11sp hub? Any idea on the spokes used?

When did Open Pro get a safety line? Looks like Open Sport
-
• #83321
11sp hub. No idea on the spokes. Apparently they came on a stock bike so probably nothing special?
-
• #83322
Well I'm glad I posted here. As I say I no nothing about mavic rims.
I assume the open sport are a lesser rim?
-
• #83323
Yes, lower spec than Open Pro. I wouldn't pay more than 60 quid for them.

As danstuff said.
I rode on a pair of them that I laced to some cheap System Ex track hubs (so the wheel build was of dubious quality already) for a few years. I'm not a light chap so they should be grand but the rims themselves were less than £30 each brand new. £60 for a lightly used set with 105 sounds about right.
