Pinnacle Arkose SS Xl

Having spent entirely too long browsing through the pages of FBNPNA and associated builds I ended up buying a Pinnacle Arkose single speed in what can only be described as their splatter paint camouflage scheme.

The first thing I did was get rid of the chain set it was supplied with - some MTB chainset made out of pig iron and replaced it with a nice Campag centaur chain set and matching TA Specialities Chainring. Then some much nicer wheels from Just Riding Along and a tubus rack. Wired it for dynamo lighting and happily commuted on it for three months before I moved offices and the bike became completely impractical. 12 months later It needs to go as I never ride it.

yep looks amazing its just a shame i won't be London till June :(

If its still available then will defo ask for a test ride.

Pinnacle are Evans' own brand, so you should be able to get a test ride at any of their stores.

Nice bike and bargain. Wish I had the requirement.

Have you considered fitting an alfine hub to make it more useable?

I could interest in the wheels/lamp if you/the buyer goes "back to basics" @fidbod

You definitely could pop an Alfine hub in, dead easy with the eccentric bottom bracket. Not the way I want to go though - this is just the start of a clear out and refresh of the bike stable....
