Is there a feature in Chrome to find out the originating link for a tab? Basically I have a tab open after clicking a link to open in new tab (on Friday afternoon) and I can't remember what I clicked on to get there.

Does Chrome, along with Firefox, respond when clicking on 'Open in a new tab'
that turns out to be a pdf, (that is downloaded), resulting in a blank tab?

I have Chrome set as my default PDF viewer, so it wouldn't ever do that. But the tab I'm talking about above is just a web page.
