  • Is there a feature in Chrome to find out the originating link for a tab? Basically I have a tab open after clicking a link to open in new tab (on Friday afternoon) and I can't remember what I clicked on to get there.

  • Does Chrome, along with Firefox, respond when clicking on 'Open in a new tab'
that turns out to be a pdf, (that is downloaded), resulting in a blank tab?

  • I don't think it's possible - opening in a new tab starts a separate session.

You could try typing window.history.back(); in the console but it basically does the same as the back button on the browser.

Since you know it was from Friday, could you just look in your history for clues?
